I have such a problem with training biceps and dumbbells, yes and a barbell, my left bicep is not flexing at all – as if he wasn't working, and the right one as if he got double training. Help me get rid of this problem.
Probably the problem lies in poor repetition technique, or in your anatomy. Perhaps you twist your left arm like this when you grab it, that you stimulate the shoulder muscle instead of the biceps. It could be, that a large part of the situation is accompanied by a clearly stronger right bicep, which takes the load off the left. Our advice: try to train as much as possible without the barbell, by one hand – dumbbells, lines, on machines. Isolate the left bicep to the maximum and look for the optimal position (wrist twist), it will finally start working solidly. You can try, for example. bending with a dumbbell against the wall. Try to find the best setting, search so far, until you find -this is the only solution.
