The last reconstruction of the ski jump took place in 1998 ahead of the Ski Flying World Championships.
The facility is a great attraction in Oberstdorf. The inrun is based on a steel and concrete structure. It was used in its construction 500 cubic meters of concrete. There are also four smaller ski jumping hills at the Schattenberg stadium.
