Metformax is a measure, which may be used during the degreasing period, when you eat a small amount of calories. However, it should definitely not be used while gaining mass and supporting the existing one. As I understand, here is the source of your trouble - you are trying to gain weight, you wanted to help your muscles, but you didn't get too lucky with your choice.
One way to reduce the negative effects of this remedy is to eat foods that are condensed sources of calories. I think, that the best choice in this case would be to put on fat – fatty foods are not very large in volume, but they allow you to consume a lot of calories. Anyway, just look at the description of Metformax and the possibilities of a fat diet to see, that they complement each other. You will not feel hungry with fats, often associated with restricting carbohydrate intake, and at the same time small amounts of sugars, what you eat will go to the muscles first.
I think, that if you are on a carbohydrate diet, the best solution is to turn it into a fatty one – otherwise it will be difficult for you to apply the measure effectively at other times, than during degreasing.
