Warming up is important
Any physical activity should be preceded by a warm-up. However, does this always happen? Each of us must answer this question. It doesn't matter if we do sports professionally or amateurly, or just go out with friends to play football or run. We always need to warm up before exercise.
What warms us up?
The main goal is to prepare the body for exercise by warming up the muscles. It also prevents injuries and injuries, that could happen during training. Thanks to it, our body goes into a state of exertion, thanks to which our mechanisms such as, oxygen uptake, thermoregulation etc. Muscle preparation, ligaments and joints for efficient training.
Our warm-up will do, that we will be able to generate more maximum power during training. It increases flexibility and extensibility, thanks to which injuries and injuries are not less frequent. It speeds up metabolic processes, thanks to which our body has energy to exercise.
In addition, warming up increases blood flow through the blood vessels and speeds up the heart rate. It improves the rate of transport of oxygen and nutrients and increases the ventilation of the lungs.
No warm-up does, That:
- Our body is exposed to all kinds of injuries, from twists to stretches.
- The lack of readiness of the muscles to act what causes, we get less power
- Without warming up, it is harder for us to get through training, followed by increased post-exercise pain. The warm-up wears him down.
What should a proper warm-up look like??
A proper warm-up should last approx 15 minutes. At this time, we should prepare our body for greater effort. First, we start with a jog, which moves our joints and muscles. It will increase blood flow. Then we add arm circles, skipy, intertwining. Another element is stretching the relevant muscles. It depends on what kind of training we're going through. otherwise bIt will look different when playing football and training in the gym. However, for safety, we should stimulate most joints to work, by kicking the leg, twisting, leg stretching, doing sit-ups and push-ups. We must not forget either, that the warm-up should be dynamic. You shouldn't sit still for too long. After doing squats, I suggest running with 100 meters and move on to the next exercise. At the end of the warm-up, we should increase the intensity and perform 4 jogging. The first one should be approx 25% our speed, second 50%, third 75%, and the last one at full throttle. We just finished and are ready for the main training. After the warm-up, we can rest for a few minutes and move on.
I wish you all successful trainings and as few injuries as possible. Do sports, because it is he who gives joy in life. It makes us stress free . Feel free to comment and give your examples of warm-ups.
