The history of the hill

The Schattenberg ski jump was built at the turn of the year 1925/26 by architect Hans Gschwender.
The first hill record was 35 meters, w 1926 established
go Müller to Bayrischzell.
After several rebuilds, in year 1950 the record belonged
to Sepp Weiler from Oberstdorf – 82 meters. In year 2003 the ski jump was extensively reconstructed at cost 17 million euros.

1982: Ernst Vectors (AUT), 116 meters
1993: Jens Weissflog (GER), 124.5 metra
1996: Christian Brenden (NOR), 125 meters
2000: Martin Schmitt (GER), 133 meters
2003: Sigurd Pettersen (NOR), 143,5 metra

In year 2000 the facility was modernized. Destined
and ten cel 1 mln. DM. New stands were built and many cosmetic changes were made to improve safety at the stadium.
