Your trademark is a cruel expression on your face, which we can often see after the competition. Where does this look come from??
“It just comes when I'm angry with myself, because I jumped wrong. A bad jump annoys me a lot, then you can see me like this.
But anyway, I control myself. I've never thrown gear or skis before” said Lindstrom, laughing.

How has your summer been so far??
“Differently, it was fine at times, sometimes bad too. I had a problem with my back, which prevented me from training normally. In the last week, luckily, the pains subsided, which positively influenced my recent jumps. I jumped well in Vuokatti”.

What do you think about the Finnish Grand Prix?
“I think, that this is a good system for selecting riders for the Summer Grand Prix.
People admit, that makes sense. You will go to the competition in the best shape.
If in Vuokatti I would jump like in Kuopio, I wouldn't run the Summer Grand Prix”.
———————–
How do you rate your chances at the Grand Prix??
“During these three competitions I did not jump as well as I can.
if everything goes well, I believe, that at the Summer Grand Prix I can achieve places in between 5 a 10”.

What does the Summer Grand Prix mean to you??
“It's actually part of my training. Good opportunity to train”.

You like the hill in Hinterzarten and Courchevel?
“I like the hill in Courchevel very much. I can't say anything special about the hill in Hinterzarten. I didn't jump well there last year.
But naturally I will try to jump well on both hills”.

You had time over the summer for something other than training?
“I only played soccer, there's really no time left, besides training.

You don't play golf?
“In no case!!”
———————–
What are your goals for the next season?
“I would like to be in good shape next season and still be in the top one 10-15 of the World Cup.
At the World Cup, I want to be as high as possible.
If everything works out, you will not see that cruel face again”. said Lindstrom, laughing.

Is there a hill you don't like?
“The ski jump in Neustadt was unfriendly for me last winter.
Personally, I really like the one in Ruka and naturally the mammoth jumps.
Mammoth ski jumps are my favourite, and my least favorite is the one in Neustadt”.

Has anything changed in training under the new coach?, Tommiego Nikuna?
“Not really. In fact, everything is as before, hardly any changes”.
